Technology of synthesis and electronic structure of triple barium–strontium–calcium carbonates for cathodes of microwave devices

Objectives. Triple barium–strontium–calcium carbonates of various grades are widely used for depositing oxide coatings on cathodes electrovacuum devices. Of all types in devices, among the most common, due to combining efficiency, durability, operation at relatively low temperatures, and a cost. The aims this work were to: create technology synthesis triple with nonequilibrium phase compositions that comprise carbonate proper pure barium phase; develop quality control procedure such using it as component cathode material microwave devices; study how electronic structure crystallites is affected by doping microimpurities from other phases material. Methods. precision X-ray diffraction analysis electron spectroscopy. Results. A was developed co-precipitation their nitrate salts. Under optimal precipitation conditions, produces powders compositions. Electron spectroscopy showed parameters significantly impurities calcium, strontium, nickel formed heat treatment carbonates. Conclusions. Calcium strontium have synergistic effect two chemical elements. As well efficiently controlling composition carbonates, which during titration method, can be processes agglomeration nanoparticles or recrystallization nanostructured
